How Ag ions are antibacterial

When bacteria or microorganisms come in contact with the surface of antibacterial and anti-fingerprint stainless steel, the negative charge of the microbial cell membrane is attracted by the positive charge of silver ions in the coating. This causes the silver ions to enter the body of the microorganisms, thereby disrupting their ability to divide and multiply, resulting in an antibacterial effect.
